ClassCard™ Gives Your Live Class Students Extra Flexibility

With the onset of the pandemic and scores of studios moving to online-exclusive models, we heard many of you saying that you wanted a virtual punch-card system. Students of your brick-and-mortar studio were able to buy a set number of classes, and use them up at their own pace … but mirroring that model online was tricky. However, we’re THRILLED to announce that we’ve nailed it: ClassCard™, a seamless way to offer your students prepaid packages of live classes.

ClassCard™ balances control and flexibility

Wellness students and clients have always loved the flexibility of drop-ins, but when all your live classes are online, tracking used classes can be a major headache. ClassCard™ is designed to streamline and automate the process of creating prepaid glass groupings. With that tricky logistical layer removed, you can focus all your energy on teaching phenomenal live classes in your online classroom. 

ClassCard™ allows Marvelous clients to:

  • Offer students prepaid packages of live classes so they can attend whenever they want without needing to book private sessions.

  • Set up multiple packages (e.g. 5-pack, 10-pack, and 20-pack) so students at any budget level can attend and participate.

  • Control the pricing and expiration for each of these packs to align with business goals.

  • Create an incentive for students to purchase larger packages or studio memberships. 

Since you’ll be able to set up pricing and the number of classes for each ClassCard™ you create, that means you can offer better pricing for larger packs of classes. For example, you could price a 5-pack at $100 ($20/class), a 10-pack at $180 ($18/class), and a 20-pack at $300 ($15/class). Showing students they get more value when they purchase a larger pack is a great way to up-sell.

If you prefer flat pricing, you can use the expiration date as an incentive. 5-packs could be good for 30 days, 10-packs for 90 days, and 20-packs for 180 days, for example. 

It’s up to you, and you can also mix and match these settings to find a format that works best for your students.

Although you might want to dip your toes into the ClassCard™ waters by offering just one package, we anticipate that most studios will want to offer multiple package options. Doing this allows you to market to brand new folks who aren’t ready to commit to a membership, and also to long-time clients with busy schedules who need to pop in on their own time. The latter group is an ideal target for large-package incentives, too!
